Joleon Lescott is an English professional footballer. He plays as a centre back, though he has played in various other positions across the defensive line, including left back.

Born in Birmingham, Lescott is a graduate of the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy. He made his first-team debut with Wolves in 2000 and he was named the supporters' Young Player of the Year two years running. He was named in the Championship team of the year for the 2005–06 season, and subsequently moved to Premier League club Everton for a total of £5 million in August 2006.

He was voted Player's Player of the Season by his teammates in the following two seasons. Lescott moved to Manchester City in August 2009 and spent five seasons at the club, winning two league titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup.

Internationally, Lescott represented England at various youth levels before making his senior debut in 2007. He represented the country at UEFA Euro 2012, scoring England's first goal of the tournament.

John Barnes MBE is a Jamaican-born English former footballer and manager, who currently works as a commentator and pundit for ESPN and SuperSport. A fast, skilful left winger, Barnes had successful periods at Watford and Liverpool in the 1980s and 1990s, and played for the England national team on 79 occasions. During his playing career Barnes was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year twice. In 2005, he was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame.

Wes Brown is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Indian club Kerala Blasters.

Brown began his career with Manchester United, joining the club's academy at the age of 12 in 1992. After turning professional in 1996, he made his senior debut in 1998 and became a semi regular first team player during the 1998–99 season, when the club won the Treble.

He won numerous honours, including four Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a League Cup and another Champions League. Former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that Brown is "without question the best natural defender this club has had for years.

Brown earned his first England cap in 1999 and was selected to play at the 2002 World Cup.
